Volunteers have a heart for helping. Whether you can sew on a button or make a quilt you can volunteer to teach others in a workshop environment. Experts are present - Everyone learns!
Volunteers help provide tips and mentor young adults with personal finances. Banking experts are available to assist mentors - Everyone learns wise money management.
Volunteers assist with picking up of donations including; couches, love seats, kitchen tables, household items and more. Having a truck would help but is not necessary. Let us know if you can help and we will give you donation information.
We help widowed who relocate or downsize, need light yard work, or basic chores, A kind heart and a gentle touch are needed. We do not charge the widowed so volunteers are critical.
If you like technology or miscellaneous jobs let us know. We always have a process or two that could use a little assistance. We collaborate with many organizations throughout Douglas and Sarpy counties so there is always something to do - Just ask!
